About Aaron

The belief that every student can find success in the classroom when given access to the right tools forms the basis of Aaron's approach to learning. With a background in special education, Aaron understands that every student has different learning needs, and works with each student to find their preferred and most effective learning style. Using a scaffolding approach, Aaron moves the student toward greater independence, helping them to first gain confidence in their ability, then reinforcing and utilizing foundational skills to help understand more complex concepts. 

Aaron served as a teacher from 2006 to 2014, teaching English, Math, History and Science to middle and high school students. He began tutoring in 2012 and has helped a growing number of students find long lasting success in areas where they previously struggled. 

Helping students get up to speed with their current work, looking ahead to next concepts, all while reinforcing foundational skills ensures that students will not just "learn for the test" but will instead retain the information and skills for a life time. They might even find they enjoy learning along the way!
